Cheyenne Capital Chorale

Director Dick Cuthbertson is in his 12th year as leader of the Chorale. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in Music Education and taught in the Douglas, Wyoming public school system. He has directed community and church choirs in Laramie, Douglas, and Cheyenne and is the current choir director of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church. Actively involved in community theater, he appeared in lead roles in several musicals such as Bye Bye Birdie, Camelot, No No Nanette, The Sound of Music, and Fiddler on the Roof. He loves the opportunity to continue on with music and conducting and to share the enjoyment of fine music with the Chorale members and the audience. Dick is currently vice-president of Members Trust Company, FSB, with office at Warren Federal Credit Union.

Accompanist Jeanne Howard is in her 2nd year with the group. She also is accompanist for the LCCC Collegiate Chorale and Cantorei Singers for the past 14 years. Additionally she is an adjunct instructor at LCCC and teaches classic piano privately. Jeanne earned a Bacherlor of Music degree from the University of Wyoming in piano performance and music education and a Masters Degree in piano performance from the University of Iowa.

Patricia Hunton Joder was born and raised in Wheatland Wyoming where her family has lived since 1868. She graduated from Wheatland High School and attended the University of Wyoming receiving a Bachelor of Music Degree in voice and composition. She has taught music at the University of Wyoming, University of Michigan at Flint, Methodist College in North Carolina, LCCC. the Denver Public Schools and the Cheyenne Public Schools. She has performed in operas and musicals in Cheyenne, Denver, and throughout the State of Wyoming. She has directed productions for the Cheyenne Capital Chorale and was the Chorale's director for two years. Pattie is married to Colonel Donald Joder. She is the mother of four children and the grandmother of eight. The Joders are now retired and living in Riverton.
