The Cheyenne Capital Chorale announced in March 2011 the selection of Sheila Green as its new Musical Director.  Green was chosen after a rigorous selection process that included having the three finalists for the position audition for the Chorale singers.

Green is an accomplished, Cheyenne-based vocal soloist, piano accompanist and choral conductor.  She serves as an adjunct voice teacher at LCCC and piano accompanist for choral groups at LCCC and Cheyenne’s East High School.  She holds an Associates Degree of Music from Laramie County Community College (LCCC), and has also studied at Utah State University and BYU. 

Accompanist Jeanne Howard is in her 4th year with the Cheyenne Capital Chorale.  She was the accompanist for the Laramie County Community College Collegiate Chorale and Kantorei Singers for 14 years.  She is an adjunct instructor at LCCC and teaches classic piano privately.  Jeanne earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wyoming in piano performance and music education, and her Masters degree in piano performance from the University of Iowa.
